Articles by Dr. Sushil Sood on exotic pheasants New animated

The below listed pdf files have been written by  a good friend of mine, Dr. Sushil Sood, HP, India, previous wildlife veterinarian at the Forestry headquarters in Shimla, Himachal Pradesh, north west India.

Dr. Sushil Sood has been involved with the captive breeding of native pheasants in this part of the world, mainly with the endangered Western tragopan, Himalayan monal, Cheer, Koklass, White crested kaleedge, Red Jungle fowls, and other birds and animals.

He has a wealth of expertise on artificial insemination in non-domesticated birds, and is now finishing his Ph.D. studies on the cryopreservation of semen taken from exotic pheasants and ratites in the School of Biology, Western Australia (Perth).  Dr. Sushil Sood is a great tragopan lover and we all hope that tragopans in India will benefit from his expertise and devotion. Double click the links below for any further details.

I hope to see more and similar articles written by him coming up in the near future. Each article is a new milestone in the right direction to preserve tragopans and other gallifoms in India and elsewhere in the world.

All the best and thank you very much, Sushil !
